Two-time Grammy award-winning singer Jason Mraz is headed to South Africa later this month, to perform two acoustic sets at the Teatro in Montecasino. The toned-downed shows take Mraz back to the San Diego coffee house scene, where he started his career.
His pop-rock, folksy sound has produced radio-friendly hits like “The Remedy”, “I’m Yours”, and “Lucky”. The South African shows are part of his world tour to promote the new album, “YES!”. The first single, “Love Someone” debuted at number one on the sales chart in 46 territories around the world.
Mraz will be backed up by folk-rock band, Raining Jane, who collaborated with him on “YES!”
There will be two shows at the Teatro: on 26 and 27 February, followed by a show at the Grand Arena in Cape Town on 1 March.
